Math TEKS

Since Texas is my home base, I always have the TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) running through my creative process. If they aren’t your priority, I hope these Math TEKS easily correspond with your state’s/country’s standards.

Counting by 1’s, 2’s, 3’s, 4’s, 5’s, and 10’s

Prior to each section, there are detailed lesson suggestions and explanations of how to use the activities with your kiddos. I know you’ll tweak them for your kiddos’ needs. My goal is that you’ll PRINT-N-GO!

Hands on Practice

There are full sheets of 15 or 30 Cards to practice skip counting by 1’s, 2’s, 3’s, 5’s, 6’s, 10’s and 12’s. Fifteen cards if you leave the number with the picture when you cut them apart. Thirty cards if you cut the numbers and pictures apart. If you make additional copies and cut them apart, it will add to the skip counting mastery at a center/workstation.

You can put one of the skip counting sheets uncut at a workstation as a guide. You may need to provide manipulatives or have handy counters for kiddos if skip counting is a challenge. The Skip Counting Cards and Activities are in color or grayscale.

A Reference Chart of the items used to illustrate how to skip count the images used in the activities is provided.
